Guest Ratings & Reviews
I arrived at the hotel around 5 pm and found the rooms to be spacious, clean, and very comfortable, ideal for a family of 4. The staff members, from reception to concierge to restaurant and bar, including Mr Rafi, were all quite friendly and helpful, ensuring a quick and easy check-in and check-out process. The location was satisfactory, although not within walking distance from Jonker Street, but great for exploring the city and near many highly rated restaurants. The dining experience, while finishing promptly at 10:30, offered tasty dishes like rice and chicken rendang, making it a good option compared to other hotels. Overall, a comfortable stay with friendly service, albeit with some minor dining timing issues.
I was pleasantly surprised by the superbly appointed room with a panoramic view of the river, although the smoke smell was a downside. The room was very spacious and roomy, but adjusting the aircon temperature was a bit tricky, leading to it being somewhat cold at times.
The hotel offers clean and spacious rooms with a super comfy bed. The service is excellent, with committed and patient staff members. The location is great, close to the Historic Centre and highly rated restaurants. The dining experience is a mix, with halal-friendly options available. The facilities are top-notch.
The spa treatment rooms at the hotel are spacious and come with a number of TV channels, but unfortunately, our room was not ready when we arrived at 5 pm. The service by the hotel staff was of excellent quality, with polite greetings and reasonable request management, but it fell short at the front counter with not being as friendly as expected, especially for guests paying high rates. The location allowed for a joining room with my elderly parents, but was not within walking distance to eateries, especially for older guests like us, and a bit far from town; however, it was excellent for exploring tourist areas along the river. The dining experience was good, although just okay for a 5-star hotel, with a wide variety of foods, and the facilities were well-organized.
